Changeable weather

Yesterday afternoon was clear and sparkling.

At the intersection of Franklin and Oak Streets I could see the road had been sanded because of early morning icy conditions.

I spotted this good news in the window of the vacant "Honor's Bakery" on Franklin Street!

This morning we have returned to, "Warmer with rain on the way".

I've always maintained that there is no such thing as too many bakeries.

Honor's Bakery is fabulous! I LOVE their bear claws. Best I've ever had.

Fort Bragg is one of my favorite towns in all the world and one of the places I spent a lot of time when I lived in Northern California (lived in Walnut Creek, worked in San Francisco.) I keep trying to figure out how I could live in Fort Bragg permanently. Lovely, basic coastal town.

Best Denny's in the United States? The one in Fort Bragg. Seriously!

I have many, many fond memories featuring Fort Bragg and its surrounding towns and parks.

I'm really looking forward to the new Fort Bragg Bakery.

I heard the owners include an original owner/founder of Cafe Beaujolais, from Mendocino. I'm hoping the new Fort Bragg Bakery will offer hearty breads, and, of course, chocolate cakes made from dark chocolates.
